1. Information We Collect

SubGrab does not require registration and does not collect personally identifiable information. When you use SubGrab, our servers may receive standard web server logs including your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. This information is used solely for security and performance monitoring and is not sold or shared with third parties.

2. YouTube URLs and Video IDs

When you submit a YouTube URL or video ID, it is sent to our server to fetch the transcript from YouTube. We do not permanently store these video IDs or associate them with you. Transcripts are fetched in real time and not retained after the request is completed.

3. Cookies

SubGrab may use essential cookies or local storage for UI preferences such as dark mode. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies beyond what is disclosed for our advertising partners (see Section 4).

4. Advertising

SubGrab may display advertisements through Google AdSense or similar networks. These networks may use cookies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ad Settings or your browser's privacy controls.

5. Third-Party Services

SubGrab fetches caption data from YouTube's public API infrastructure. YouTube's own privacy policy (privacy.google.com) governs how YouTube processes this data. SubGrab does not access your YouTube account or viewing history.

6. Children's Privacy

SubGrab is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us immediately.
